Gary Fludder

Gary Fludder

Now for something completely different…

Meet Gary Fludder: A relative newcomer to the comedy scene, and a comedian with a difference! Gary looks at life from an unusual perspective (he was born with a Disability) however what he is missing in size and body parts he makes up for with a wicked sense of humor.  Gary has been likened to “Steady Eddy on Speed”.

2009 has been Gary’s break out year, with an incredibly diverse range of gigs under his (quite small – the dude’s only 46kg!) belt. He was a finalist in the Triple J 2009 Raw Comedy Comp, a place getter in the Bangalow Village Idiot competition, runner up in Canberra’s Green Faces Competition, and even found time to support Chopper Read through a series of shows in South East Qld. Gary was one of the first acts to appear in the Australia Uplate Comedy, as part of ‘Optimism’ at the Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) in early 2009.

Gary has been pointed at, stared at, and laughed at all his life, so stand up comedy is where he has found himself.  Gary’s unique brand of comedy has meant that he has been able to tickle the funny bones of a very diverse audience, from rough crowds to middle aged women in comedy clubs and all points in between around Brisbane and Gold Coast.

Gary’s life has not been easy, but has been funny.  And this is the adventure that he likes to take his audience on….

Gary Fludder: A completely natural performer who sucks you further into his world with every word.
