Steve Allison

STEVE ALLISON
Steve Allison was born into show business. His parents (The Allisons) were Australia’s top sight act for over thirty years. His dad always said “As long as you live under this roof you will do things my way”. So Steve had to come home from school every day drunk, and tell his Mum a joke.
Steve kick-started his comedy career at “EXPO 88” as their youngest comedy juggler. In the many years and thousands of performances since, Steve has performed for all manner of people in all kinds of places - and he knows how to make any audience laugh; it’s obvious as soon as he picks up the microphone…
As a regular headline act in comedy clubs and countless corporate functions Steve has built a reputation as one of the most respected comedians working the Australian comedy circuit. Steve’s comedy stems from his natural sense of humour and quick wit, and is a mix of snappy one-liners, funny home truths and hilarious stories with crazy impressions and comedy juggling. Aussie humour at it’s best!
Steve has worked alongside some of the biggest names in comedy, including Eric Bana, Jimoen, Steady Eddie, Vince Sorrenti, Dave Hughes, Wil Anderson, Col Elliott, Shane Bourne and John Garfield plus international stars Lenny Henry, Alexi Sales and Stevie Star plus music legends Kate Cerebrano, Tommy Emmanuel, Kamahl and The Supremes. He’s appeared on TV on “The Footy Show” and The Comedy Channel’s “Headliners”, “Brownies Coast Watch”, “Brisbane Extra” and Channel 7’s Home Delivered Humour.
Steve’s international experience includes tours of South Africa, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the P&O cruise ships Pacific Sky, Pacific Dawn and Pacific Sun. All this experience gives Steve the ability to perform a hilarious original show of fun, laughter and the unexpected!!
